It's quite amazing how it all works, barely tapping into this new world I've found. I wanted to say thank you.  It's funny when I read your words how some things grabbed me because it is what I say-I do whatever it takes and hell yeah!

Dear Shafin,

My name is Sasha and I come from Ukraine. When I have found about your e-course, firstly, I thought that this is some kind of nonsense, not more. However, when I tried to analyze the words of the text, I have come to understand that our life is really all about us. 

As for me, I was born in a poor family and was brought up by my mother who tried to give me everything possible... When I was about 16 everybody told me that I don't even have to try to enter the university because I don't have money and all the necessary connections.  Firstly, I was very disappointed. I knew that in a third world country such as Ukraine to get anything without a bribe is almost impossible. To a large extent, this is true but there are exceptions.

Personally, I am this exception. Starting from the age of 16 I tried to prove the rest of the world that I am capable of getting a lot more than others predestined to me. I intensively started learning English, took part in various competitions, science competitions in Linguistics and... Was it all smooth??? Of course, not. I faced corruption but I also met a lot of great people who inspired me to always move forward, to never stop.

Finally, when I was 17 I won almost all the possible competitions in English language on the regional level. Was it luck? Maybe, to some extent, but of equal importance was persistence. I remember me coming back from High School, having a quick supper and starting working on my Linguistic research. I did not go out much with my friends not because I thought they were stupid but because I wanted to manage my time wisely; in other words, I have set a goal that I wanted to finish.

What now? All the people around me were wrong telling that I would never get higher education. I am now a teacher of English at one of the most prestigious universities in Ukraine. While studying I had a unique chance to go to Canada twice; once as a volunteer, second time as an intern at the Canadian House of Commons. I always tried to consider many options and I was successful.

However, there is one thing about all those people who used to say that I would never get higher education. This thing is - stimulus. As in one of your lectures you say: all our enemies are in this world only help us move forward, assist us in seeing what we are capable of becoming.... The same happened to me. These people, in a sense, brought me to where I am now.

Well, I got introduced to the concept of consciousness around 6 yrs ago. However, I have been efforts to walk the path for a little more than a year now. So, at the outset I would say that what I saw in the 7 day ecourse wasn't all new.  

However, I must say one thing; It very strongly drove home the point that "I can do it"!!!! I have been mulling over the idea of quitting my job so that I can dedicate more time to helping people and also dedicate more time to 'realizing' by direct experience all that was put in words in the 7 day ecourse. Reading all material in that and the subsequent mails made me feel stronger in a sense that nothing can touch the real me! I am a child of the universe and if there is something that I really really want to do, the universe will conspire that it happens!

I loved the mail where you mentioned about how we will be tested. Since then, I have been able to observe the distractions that pop up in front of me and am consciously able to witness the events that occur in my life, more than being a part of them!!

Thanks so much. When I was wondering if I was doing the right thing or not, I stumbled upon your work and it has erased the doubts and strengthened my conviction in what I should be doing!!!

Hello Shafin, I used to always say "anything for a quite life" but now I say "anything for a better life". The trick is to find those limiting beliefs, for me, overriding them is a little tough.
